Michael Walsh

Michael Walsh

Founder and Lead Web Designer

Michael started his career in web design in 1999 at "strategic internet consultancy" Netforce Group Plc. While at Netforce he was involved with client projects for British Car Auctions, QBE, Lloyds, Daily Mail Group and the Corporation of London to name a few. Michael was also given the task to re-design the companies own multimedia department website which was a huge responsibility for a junior member of staff.

In 2000 Michael started a degree in Multimedia Systems and at the same time started his own company Enovate Design. During his degree he continued to grow the business by expanding the company website and focussing on search engine optimisation to acquire new customers. To this day Enovate Design has grown purely on recommendations and search engine traffic and has never embarked on any form of paid advertising.

After graduating with a 1st class honours degree in 2003 Michael continued to expand and grow the business. In February 2009 the company moved into its present office in Chelmsford city centre and is growing consistently despite a challenging business environment.

Michael volunteers as a STEM ambassador, sharing his passion for web design with students at a local secondary school by leading after school web design classes. Outside of work Michael spends his time with his wife and two children. He's also a keen road cyclist and also enjoys taking part in Chelmsford's weekly 5km Parkrun.

A self-confessed music lover, when he isn't karting Jamie likes to spend his time at festivals, music venues or just plugged into his earphones.

James Taylor

James Taylor

James began his career in a combined Development / Systems Engineer role for two SME construction businesses in 2000. Since 2003, James has developed several web projects at Enovate Design, all of which required the use of the latest web technologies plus applications for mobile devices and the use of n-tier architectures. James’ approach to quality and code efficiency has made his projects robust and scalable, to the satisfaction of clients.
